Our Story

Journey of NEMAF

From a group of like-minded youths in 2007 to more than a decade and a half of research, dialogue and field implementation across Madhesh - here is how NEMAF has grown.

Milestones

  1. 2007

    Established

    NEMAF was established in 2007. Since then it has continuously worked for sustained socio-economic development and improved quality of life of rural and marginalized communities in Madhesh.

  2. 2008

    Federalism Support Program (FSP)

    To share ideas and information on several aspects of federalism between national experts and local opinion makers.

    • Identify trainers/facilitators on principles of federalism at district and sub-district level.
    • Explore important issues regarding federalism at the local level.
