Description

This report is the result of a primary research conducted by NEMAF in early 2014. A household survey was developed by NEMAF and then carried out across 10 districts in Madhesh/Terai region of Nepal. The survey team was led by Prof. Krishna Hachhethu  and coordinated by Tula Narayan Shah. The researchers of the team included Anirudh Prashad Shah, Krishna Kumar Sah and Nand Kumar Sah.

The team prepared the data analysis of the survey results, which formed the basis for the report. This analytical report was authored by Prof.Krishna Kumar Kachhethu and was later edited by Anirudh Prasad Sah and Marouan Fatti. NEMAF wishes to thank DanidaHUGOU for supporting the survey and Governance Facility for the publication of this report.

NEMAF would also like to thank all the people that participated in the survey process, including supervisors, field enumerators, NEMAF’s local partners and its team as a whole.
