Description

This report is the result of a primary research conducted by NEMAF in the months
starting from September to November 2021. A household survey was developed
by Innovative Research & Development Center (IRDC) Pvt. Ltd. on the request of
NEMAF and then carried out across the 40 urban/rural municipalities of 8 districts in
Madhesh Province. The survey team was led by Mohan Singh Sunar and coordinated
by Tula Narayan Shah. The core research team included Santosh Kumar Shah as
Data Expert and Statistician, Ranju Kumari Yadav as a GEDSI Expert and Hira Lal
Vishwakarma as a Sr. Governance and Capacity Development Expert. The team
prepared the data analysis of the survey results, which formed the basis for the report.
This analytical report was authored by the core research team and edited by Mohd
Ayub and Krishna Kumar Sah. NEMAF wishes to thank The Asia Foundation for
supporting the process of the survey. NEMAF would also like to thank all the people
that participated in the survey process, including supervisors, field enumerators,
